Mary Carroll
BSc. Exp Physics, H.Dip.Ed., M.B.A., M.I.E.I.
Mary has twenty years experience in IT manufacturing and service, where she held senior management roles in various parts of the supply chain for MNC’s. She has been responsible for product engineering and delivering quality assurance and customer service management for large IT MNC’s. Having been part of the start up team for the European manufacturing facility for a leading computer manufacturer, Mary later set up a successful LCD repair company servicing MNC’s globally, and replicated the technology in the Asia/Pacific and Americas regions. This company was later sold to a major IT service conglomerate. Mary has designed and implemented world class Quality systems in both large multinational subsidiaries and SME’s. She has been the IT national representative to International Standards bodies and has represented the IT industry on the board of the NSAI, where she was Vice Chairman. Mary also has extensive lecturing and training experience.
James O'Doherty
BE, CEng, CDipAF, MSc.
James has twenty years experience in Healthcare manufacturing services to MNC’s. James has taken a manufacturing service company from a green field site through to market dominance. He has improved operational performance at diverse companies in Ireland and Sweden. He has operated in compliance with Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Regulatory authorities, both national and international. He has implemented effective Quality Systems in SME’s leading to world class standards of excellence in turntimes, customer service and service and product quality. He has increased profitability through a structured approach to process improvement. James has held leadership roles in national and international business and technical organisations. James has written many articles and presented to international seminars on technical topics.
John Fitzgerald
John has served in various Senior Engineering, Facilities and R&D roles for US Multi Nationals. He now works very closely with Irish and European blue chip companies on developing their Teambuilding and Event Management needs
John set up Funireland Event Management Company in 2002 to service a major need in Corporate Industry for exclusive Event Management and Executive Teambuilding. In his previous life he has developed and installed Engineering and Operational Systems and processes for improvement of throughput and efficiencies at a major IT Manufacturer. He has also developed and led project Teams on Engineering and R&D Projects for Military and Petrochemical Industries - Oklahoma based Petrochemical Company. He has previously spent 2 years as Business Development Consultant to various Manufacturing business in the mid west region. He was Project Manager during the building of a Major IT Manufacturers groundbreaking new Facility.
Rebecca May
Rebecca has set up and managed several IT companies in the UK and Ireland over the past 15 years. She now works with Corporate Companies on organising their event requirements and needs.
In 2004/2005 Rebecca set up and ran a series of very succesful Teambuilding sessions for companies seeking staff development and retention through external workshops and fun team events. Rebecca has taken a lead role on several expert panels which led to the EU WEEE Directive implemented in 2005. Rebecca has been instrumental in implementing ISO 9000 Quality and ISO14000 Environmental Systems across Ireland and the UK in major blue chip Companies. In 2002 Rebecca won a Barclays "UK National Business Woman of the Year" award for her contribution and innovation on the environmental effects of the IT business on the Environment.
